Why are Ayahuasca Ceremonies so Appealing?

It’s not because they’re pleasant experiences - most times, it’s quite the opposite.

My hands go numb, I feel tingling all over my face and body, and sometimes I even vomit, get dizzy, and get headaches.

But alongside the personal quests, the deep desire to heal, to overcome, to transcend an old repetitive pattern that makes us suffer, there is the camaraderie, the feeling that we are doing this together with open hearts. We share the misery and the glory, the vulnerability of being so exposed, so raw in the company of others. It is the love, the care, the sacred gathering, and the devotion we share together honoring the spirit of plant medicine. It is the songs, the drumming, the sounds of the jungle, the ancient teachings, and the wisdom of nature.

We are naturally drawn to ceremonies as our ancestors did around the fire to connect with the Great Spirit, the Creator, and the mystery. In a ceremony, we become one; we surrender to something far more powerful than ourselves. There’s so much love in these gatherings; we look into each other's eyes and hug with open hearts, as it should always be.

You may wonder why so many people are looking for experiences like these. All around the world, there is this need for awakening, connection, and co-creation of the new paradigm, a new way of relating as multidimensional beings in harmony with all creatures in Mother Earth, Pachamama. Together, we share the dream, and together, we can manifest the world we want. All we need is to get together in communities and tribes of like-minded people to nurture each other, to work together, and to hold the same intention.

So, we prepare, learn, and heal, following our soul's call.
